A twist on a classic, this tuna Caesar salad is the perfect lunch (or dinner!) for two! PS. Don’t skip out on the yummy croutons!

Prep Time 8 minutes
Servings 2 people

  1. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and serve.

Going store-bought or gourmet works. Whether you're buying dressing and croutons or making your own, no one will judge you!
Watch out for saltiness. Caesar dressing, croutons and parmesan are all made better by salt, but in combination together can result in a salty tuna caesar salad. To mitigate over salty salad try adding parmesan gradually, making less salty croutons, or adjusting the salt in the dressing. Note that my lighter caesar salad dressing already has parmesan in it, and therefore just a couple savings on top of the salad is enough!
Don't add the dressing until serving. Adding the dressing too soon can cause wilty lettuce which will defeat the purpose of a refreshing caesar! If you're taking this salad to go, put the dressing in a separate container and toss just before you're about to eat.
