Using it to spice meats is fantastic. A couple of tablespoons mixed into ground beef makes yummy tacos perfect for a taco bar or weeknight meal. I especially like mixing it with chicken, onions and bell peppers for the quick and easy fajitas. Think chili, dips, steak fajitas, I believe the possibilities of this Tex-Mex spice mix are endless.
Great for meats and vegetables, this Tex-Mex spice mix can be used for tacos, fajitas, chili, nachos… the list can go on and on!
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1/2 tbsp. garlic salt (or a combination of 3/4 tsp. each garlic powder and fine sea salt)
- 1/2 tbsp. cumin
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and use or store in an airtight container.
