As the days get colder and the days get shorter, snuggle up in something cozy and warm your insides with this Spiced Apple Cider. Flavored with cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and orange, it’s perfect to sip now and all the way to the spring!
It’s November, WHAT?!
Canadian Thanksgiving flew by, I’m thinking of doing Friendsgiving for American Thanksgiving (maybe, a lot of life stuff happening right meow), Halloween is over and before we know it it’s gonna be Christmas!
OH. MY. GAWD.
As I get older time seems to go by faster and faster, and sometimes I need to stop and smell the roses. However, in the fall there ain’t no roses! So stop and smell the Spiced Apple Cider, because it is the smell of joy in the fall.
Flannel shirt + Leggings + Wool Socks + Infinity Scarf + Spiced Apple Cider = B.L.I.S.S.
If the microwave wasn’t so far at the lab I’d be sipping on this daily and reminding myself that: yes, science has a lot of ups and downs (at the moment it’s been a lot of downs), but it’s the little things in life that you need to celebrate. I honestly believe a good cup of cider can turn the day around – kinda like a good cup of coffee or a perfectly steeped tea.
What I love about this Spiced Apple Cider recipe: you make it once – in whatever quantity you want, it is totally scalable – and then you can have it for the rest of the week hot or cold!
I’ve been ditching my before bed tea for some of this cinnamon-y, ginger-y, orange-y goodness (heated in the microwave!).
This recipe isn’t only good for a personal pick-me-up, but great for entertaining during the cold months. Just throw the contents of pot into a jug with come apple slices and you look super classy!
I also believe it would serve as a great mixer in fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas cocktails! So look out for some of those ideas heading your way!
But for now, I’m gonna cozy on up with a cup and go a HUGE data analysis on my latest experiment!
Hope you enjoy!
